Just on that basis a new research has tested the ability to reduce stress relaxation techniques traditionally used, such as meditation and yoga.
The research involved 24 adults between 28 and 72 years of age during a period of eight weeks. The general stress level was significantly reduced, but this was not the only conclusion reached by the authors of this research, it also proved that the study participants improved the activity of your immune system.
After completing the program, the volunteers experienced significant improvements in their levels of anxiety, and decreased C-reactive protein, a marker of inflammation. In addition, they also observed that the relaxation techniques increased the activity of immune system cells.
